Primary colours: boats in Whitby harbour.
The accidental juxtaposition (whoa, sounds like post modernist bullshit!) of these hulls, each in one of the primary colours made even an artistically prosaic clod like me stop and smile. To port: Chieftain, a ruddy great charter fishing boat with a smart new paintjob that goes offshore for days on end in pursuit of cod and whose skipper is remarkably philosphical about his job: his page is a pleasure to read. Middle is Speksioneer* a ketch-rigged motorsailer and Esk Belle II to starboard, both owned by Whitby Coastal Cruises.
*A whaling term which means fat-cutter, I am told.
