My first piece for university was labelled by the professor during critique as not making any sense (the assignment was to do a 10-drawing narrative), and a few fellow classmates immediately labelled it misogynist. A few people came to my defence, and I still have a fondness for the series. It was showing the three fates each perishing in various ways, all self-inflicted and magical, and involving acorns, which at the time I used a lot as symbols of wisdom. Anyway, it is all about finding the right audience. Hit me with a wonder some time! Although, giant photos of ratfish have that effect... You can’t let a bit of laughter stop you!
